Mošćenička Draga

Where the green slopes of the Učka mountain merge with the blue sea lies the municipality of Mošćenička Draga. A brook, whose spring is under the Učka mountain, brought sand and pebbles down to the sea and formed one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic Sea called Sipar. It is several hundred meters long and stretches south up to the beach Sv. Ivan (St. John). The promenade that runs above the beach of Sv. Ivan is adorned with splendid aristocratic villas, while the old town is a typical fishing village with narrow streets and stone houses tightly nestled together.
