Klana

Northwest of the city of Rijeka and at 564 m.a.s.l. lies the municipality of Klana. Due to its proximity to the mountain range and Gorski kotar, it is characterized by a rather continental climate. The Mediterranean climate of the coast has almost no impact here despite the fact that this area is so close to, but separated from the coast and the Kvarner Bay only by several mountains and hills.
