The Golubinka sea cave is located in the Brbišćica bay on Dugi Otok and can be reached by car or boat. The cave is a wonderful natural attraction with a large opening in the ceiling through which sunlight reaches the cave. The seductive play of sea, stone and sunlight creates an impressive spectrum of colors in the cave that leaves you breathless. At the end of the cave is a small beach which is a perfect spot for taking photos. The safest way to visit the cave is in kayaks within organized groups and when weather conditions are favorable, i.e. without wind and waves. More daring explorers can jump off a high cliff and swim into the cave through a narrow passage. It is not recommended to visit the Golubinka cave if the wind is blowing and the sea is wavy. During stable weather in summer months, the mistral winds blows in the Adriatic almost every afternoon, which can create high waves, so if you plan to visit the Golubinka cave, you should do it in the morning when the weather is stable.
