Embraced by the picturesque and calm bay Zlatna vala on Dugi otok and at the foot of the island’s highest peak Vela straža lies the small village Luka. Its welcoming bay is a true paradise for boaters and a safe anchorage. The village has a beautiful promenade from the 14th century. The locals warmly welcome their guests in family houses and apartments by the sea, and will happily offer them organically grown fruits and vegetables from their own gardens, as well as fresh fish that they catch themselves. In the nearby bay Boka you can find healing mud that has a beneficial effect on health, but also do not miss to experience all the other beauties Dugi Otok has to offer. Take a swim at the exotic beach Sakarun, experience the sunset in Veli Rat, discover Zmajevo Oko (Dragon’s Eye) and Golubinka in the bay Brbišćica, peek into the cave Strašna peć, take a walk through Nature Park Telašćica and treat yourself to a cruise through the Kornati National Park.
