Island Prvić, Šibenik archipelago

The island of Prvić is a small gem of the Šibenik archipelago that is connected to the mainland by multiple daily ferry lines. There are two settlements on the island: Prvić Luka and Prvić Šepurine. With its stone houses, wooden shutters and narrow streets, Prvić Šepurine is a true example of traditional Dalmatian architecture. There is also the beautiful Parish Church of the Assumption built in 1878 and the Church of St. Roko from 1620, which is known for its unique baroque altar. Interesting sights are also the monastery and the parish church from the end of the 15th century in Prvić Luka. In the church of Our Lady of Mercy in Prvić Luka lie the remains of the great Croatian scientist Faust Vrančić, whose name is associated with the invention of the parachute. His achievements and ideas have been translated into numerous models that you can see in the Museum of Faust Vrančić in Prvić Luka. The island of Prvić is ideal for a relaxing holiday, especially for those appreciating the peace and privacy this island has to offer. Numerous hidden coves, which are best visited by boat, ensure swimming and sunbathing in complete intimacy. Guests can choose their accommodation in private holiday homes and apartments. Fans of active holidays can enjoy sport fishing, diving and hiking on the island.
