Villa Škrika is situated in the oldest small village on island Brač called Škrip. If you want to spend your vaccation in peaceful place and waking up with the sound of birds and at the same time inhaling beautiful scent of lavanda then Villa Škrika is excellent choice for you. On 200m2 yard is heated pool with jacuzzi (34m2), closed bathroom, covered barbacue, lagre open place for sitting and dining. Villa Škrika has two units (rented as one). First unit is an old stone house build in 1880. and fully renovated 2018. On first floor there are 2 rooms, one with large bed and one with two separated beds, bathroom eith shower tub and one small hallway which leads to stairs to the upper floor. On upper floor there is living room with open roof view on old village Škrip, kitchen and dining area with exit on small balcony with beautiful view on private yard with pool, Adriatic sea and village hills. The second unit is completely new house build in 2018. The house has one living room equiped with kitchen and dining area, one bathroom with shower tub and one bedroom with large bed. Both of the houses are air conditioned. Both of the kitchens are equiped with microwave owen, boilling pots for hot water, coffie machine, toaster, kitchen owen, washing machine for dishes, fridge with deep fridge. Both of living rooms have smart TV with wifi. Bathrooms are equiped with washing machine, iron for clothes and hairdryer. Parking space and wifi are free.

Why visit Škrip?

The long history and culture of the island of Brač is best seen in Škrip – the oldest settlement on the island. Prehistoric town walls, numerous archaeological finds, several sarcophagi, reliefs and medieval graves are an evidence of the long history of the place and the lives of its people. Where there once stood Illyrian town walls from 1400 BC, later was a Roman mausoleum, then a Radojković Tower built for defensive purposes and today it is a museum of the island of Brač. The museum displays interesting exhibits from Kopačina cave, Roman tomb-stones, sea charts and diverse folk handicrafts from the entire island. This jewel of historical and cultural heritage has always been a very popular tourist destination.
