Natural beauty of the region are the Brijuni islands. They are the majestic mix of landscape and cultural heritage consisting of 14 islands. The biggest ones, Veli Brijun and Mali Brijun, have been settled from prehistory. There are numerous animals that freely walk around verdant forests, mangificent gardens, parks and medows. You can spot dinosaur steps, explore ancient ruins or Roman villas and take a look at Byzantine and Austirian forts, or Safari and Etno park. You can reach Brijuni via boat from Fažana where administration of the NP is located.
