Jasenice

Jasenice is a small village whose houses are scattered in a wide area at the foot of the southern side of the Velebit mountain range. It is known for its special climate conditions where the dry and cold north wind merges with the salty sea air. The area of ​​Jasenice is adorned with fairytale nature, such as the canyons of Velika and Mala Paklenica, Tulove grede on Velebit and the Zrmanja canyon from Obrovac to the estuary in the Novigrad Sea. At Matekova punta there is the peculiar and famous Modrič cave.
