Posedarje is located on the coast of the Novigrad Sea, only 23 kilometers away from the large tourist center of Zadar. This settlement has a rich history and tradition, which has been proudly preserved by its inhabitants. In Posedarje, be sure to try the autochthonous delicacy Posedarje prosciutto. The specialty of this prosciutto lies precisely in the geographical position of Posedarje. Namely, it is here that the strong north wind bora blows with an incredible force and thus dries the prosciutto with the additional flavors deriving from sea salt and the aromatic scents of medicinal herbs from the Velebit mountain. This combination of the gifts of nature, along with traditional recipes and skillful locals, produces one of the best Croatian prosciuttos, which you simply have to taste.
