Supetarska Draga, isola di Rab

Supetarska Draga is located in the north-western part of the island of Rab. This beautiful village derives its name from the Basilica of St. Peter that was built here in the 11th century and represents the oldest Romanesque church in Croatia. The bell on the bell tower dates back to the 13th century. Supetarska Draga is also the home of the oldest Benedictine abbey on the island that is visited by many believers and curious tourists. Supetarska Draga is surrounded by the islands Maman, Srednjak and Šajlovac, which are all uninhabited and very popular among visitors due to the extremely clean sea and exotic sandy and pebble beaches. If you plan a boat trip to the hidden coves of these uninhabited islands, be sure to bring along some water and food. There are no bars or restaurants there to spoil the pure nature and magical beauty.
The many protected bays and the well-equipped ACI marina attract many boaters. June 29th is a particularly festive day in Supetarska Draga when the locals celebrate the feast of St. Peter, their patron saint, and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy numerous open air concerts, a diverse cultural and entertainment program and traditional dishes. Find your ideal accommodation in one of the modern apartments or holiday houses and visit Supetarska Draga on the island of Rab.
