The municipality of Jelenje is located near the cities of Rijeka and Opatija and encompasses several smaller and administratively connected villages: Brnelići, Baštijani, Drastin, Dražice, Jelenje, Kukuljani, Lubarska, Lukeži, Lopača, Martinovo Selo, Milaši, Podhum, Podkilavac, Ratulje, Trnovica, Valići and Zoretići. This area has a remarkable and specific climate.
